Het is een amberkleurig bier met een zachte en tegelijk uitgesproken bitterzoete smaak. Dit bier ontwikkelt rijke aroma\u2019s van noten, karamel en bittere sinaasappel. De Bush Caract\u00e8re Referment\u00e9e is de klassieke Bush Caract\u00e8re hergist in flessen van 75 cl. Door zijn nadrukkelijke bitterheid is hij echter alleen geschikt om de pan te blussen of om bereidingen van rood vlees of sterksmakend gevogelte te bedruipen. In sommige gevallen kan het nodig zijn een beetje suiker te gebruiken om de bitterheid te compenseren.<\/p>\n\n<p>Ook bij het smelten van pure chocolade kunt u een beetje Bush Caract\u00e8re toevoegen
